UHF RFID Battery-Assisted Passive tag

Battery-assisted passive (BAP) RFID tags are passive RFID tags enhanced with an embedded battery. When an RF signal is received from an RFID reader, the BAP tag activates its battery, which powers the RFID tag’s integrated circuit. This allows for efficient and reliable communication with the reader.

Our product range includes two versions, differing primarily in the antenna design and the chip used:

  • Impinj Monza 8K
  • EM Microelectronic EM43 series

We recommend the EM4325 chip for its superior capabilities for projects requiring more advanced solutions, including sensors, external switch components and communication with PLCs.

If you have specific requirements or need expert guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
