The interaction between UHF RFID tags and metal is different compared to LF or HF tags. Specifically, using UHF RFID tags on metal surfaces presents unique challenges. Many scientific papers have focused on the design of antennas for RFID tags, especially in these scenarios.
In response to these challenges, we have developed our own materials for designing custom tags, leveraging the environment around the tag as part of a „distributed antenna“ system—a particular area of expertise for us.
